Another busy weekend as usual with graduation parties, a little shopping and of course...some minor cleaning!! My DH put up our bird feeders on Saturday and we had our first guests! Aren't they pretty???

One long overdue update!

Well, as I promised MANY months ago...here are the latest scrapbook pages I have done. Some were done when we went on our scrapbook weekend, some I did at home and some were done when we had our community center crops. Anyway, I REALLY needed to get these posted!!! so....here they are!!!




























If anyone is a fan of CD - you'll notice I scraplifted a few of her designs! I just love her pages! Some are my own creation and some of them have parts that are "borrowed". but that's the fun of scrapbooking, picking up ideas from here and there and then putting your own little finishing touch to them!

Last April Post

It's almost May, so it's time for my once-a-month post :-). I have a bunch of stuff to post but just haven't found the time to sit down and do it. Tonight though, while I was watching the new episode of "The Hills" I decided to do a new digital Layout since it's been a LONG time since I've done a complete digital LO. Man, it was tough and a very b-o-r-i-n-g LO because I couldn't remember where I put all my digital elements and background papers. I chose the first kit that I found searching my hard drive that had the same kind of colors as the pictures. I didn't spend much time on it (as you can tell). but it was nice to do a LO in under 30 minutes! so, here it is...



Before I run off, here is the Mosh-Posh kit for May - another good one!! check out the cute little chick stamp...love it!

March Mosh Posh

Man, I better get the new March Mosh-Posh kit posted before March is gone!! So, here it is:

Wow!

I finally got to scrapbook this weekend! A friend of mine (Mo) and I organized a crop at our local community center this weekend. It was a LOT of FUn! We started around 4pm Friday and closed it up around 3pm on Sunday. I only completed 4.8 pages but I still had a GREAT time. I forgot to take a picture of a few of the layouts but here are the 2 I did remember to take a snapshot before putting them in the scrapbook (too lazy tonight to take them out of there right now!)

This one was scraplifted from CD - I so love her designs!


This one was designed by me... Pretty boring compared to the scraplifted designs by CD! I just love fancy pants background paper. You really don't need to add a whole lot of embelishments to it as it is great just by itself.

Well, that's it for tonight but I'll leave you with some pictures of the ladies working hard at this weekends crop...

Our Tree's

I figured I better hurry up and post the pictures of our Christmas trees before Christmas was over! Here is a quick view of our tree's we put up this year. The one in the living room only took until the 21st to get completed and it's not exactly "complete" either - we just threw some ornaments on "sparingly" so we could say it was done!

What have I been up to?

Well, besides homework...I have been busy designing Christmas cards for family and friends. I really enjoy doing stuff like that so it was nice to take a break from the class work and do something fun! Here are a few of the cards I have done so far:










I also took the pictures myself except for the Scheef card and the Hruby card they already had pictures they wanted to use. The last one is of my parents - my mom didn't want to do Christmas cards this year so I took a picture of them in my kitchen (mom has no make-up on and neither one of them are dressed up) and told them that was going to be their Christmas card - I don't think they believed me but I did use it and ordered them up before they could say "no"! Next year I think they will listen to me when I say "it's time to take your Christmas Card picture"! :-)

That's enough for tonight as I have to get one more assignment done before I go to bed. Hope you enjoyed the Cards!
